Das neue Stück am English Theatre of Hamburg

Dramatisch

Soviel vorweg: Das stärkste Stück von Neil Labute, einem der  erfolgreichsten zeitgenössischen Stückeschreiber Amerikas, ist „Reasons to be Pretty“ nicht.

Viele Besucher des English Theatre werden sich bestimmt noch an die fulminante Aufführung von „This is how it goes“ vor einigen Jahren erinnern,  das   die brennenden sozialen Probleme der USA im Zusammenleben von Schwarz und Weiß in den Fokus rückt. Dennoch, keiner sollte das neue Stück versäumen, in dem dramatische und komödiantische Szenen wie in einem Kaleidoskop aufgemischt werden.
